…corporate BAME network?

The concept of establishing a BAME network has been best practice in many organisations for some time now. However, only a limited amount of established organisations have really embraced its true purpose. In 2005 Transport for London (TfL) Staff Network Group formed a Black Asian Minority Ethnic (TfL BAME) network group for its workers. Its key focus is to eliminate discrimination and promote equality between ethnic groups according to TfL’s Race Equality Scheme.

Experienced founders…

One of UK-BAME’s founders; Mr Dwayne Smith has worked for TfL for many years and has since then recognised the opportunity to broaden the scope. In partnership with Greenwich community members, Local authorities, Dr Daniel Lartey, Mr. Dwayne Smith has formally established UK-BAME in October 2012. It was established to provide a stable networking sharepoint platform, without any red tape to support UK-BAME members.

Anytime, anywhere?

The uk-bame network will be available for its members on most electronic device; anytime-anywhere. So that members can network across different platforms, such as SharePoint, social media, and other virtual networks at work or at home.
